CONTAINER FREIGHT STATION (CFS) CONWARE NAVI MUMBAI

The 'Punjab State Container and Warehousing Corporation Ltd.,' known as CONWARE CFS, is a setup of the Punjab State Government to facilitate and promote EXIM surface logistics support in the Western Coastal region, situated 9 kilometers from Jawaharlal Nehru Port at Nhava Sheva, Navi Mumbai. Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (a Statutory Corporation) is a public sector enterprise of the state government that carries out various activities related to export-import promotion and warehousing solutions. This CFS is the first multi-story warehouse facility in the Nhava Sheva region, providing cargo storage facilities for EXIM trade. This facility is under 24 X 7 manual and mechanized surveillance. A total of 258 CCTV cameras cover the yard and warehouse area to secure containers and prevent cargo burglary. The state government facility is presently operated and managed by M/s. GAD Logistics (I) Private Limited since February 2022, with an experienced team. After completing the first year as a CFS operator, M/s. GAD Logistics (I) Private Limited gained the trust of the trade and achieved a throughput of 62,660 TEUs during the last financial year 2022-23. The total notified area under the Customs Act 1962 is 1,07,748.92 square meters (26.63acres), while the covered warehouse area is 41,828 square meters with 7 warehouses
